Here Comes the Rain (Day #9)

Today was a calm day. I am bummed out I was not home for the festivities of the 4th of July, but I guess being in Ireland is a good alternative. Me and Jess woke up and had some waffles for breakfast and went off to class. In our film class we watched a movie and in our English class we discussed the mythology stories we have been reading. After class we went into Dublin and booked a tour for Saturday, the 16th of July. We got back just in time for dinner, white rice with homemade chili on top. It was very good. Me and Jess have quite a lot of homework this week, so tonight is designated to start that, relax, and talk to friends and family. It looks like rain is coming this way tonight, and might possibly stay all week. We might finally experience some regular Irish weather.

Since nothing today was to exciting to read about, I have decided to make a list of things I am, and am not missing back in the U.S.A. and things I do, and do not like here in Ireland.

Missing                                                            Not Missing

  • Pizza                                                        Fast pace of life
  • My hot tub and pool                                 Fast food
  • A warm/sunny summer
  • Friends & Family
  • Lauren <3
  • My large bed
  • Playing basketball
  • Country life
  • My cell phone
  • Swamp People
  • ESPN
  • Call of Duty

Like                                                                 Do Not Like

  • EVERYONE is friendly                            Buses
  • Food                                                       Everything is expensive
  • Weather                                                  I'm going to school
  • Tons of things to do

I am sure there are more things I will think of as we go. I will add to them to the list as our time here goes on. However, for now, that is it.
